Intake 2.0 is Here

Intake 2.0 is Here

We've spent the last few months rebuilding Intake from the ground up. Version 2.0 isn't just an update — it's a complete rethink of how calorie tracking should work. Faster, smarter, and designed around the way you actually eat. Here's what's coming.

Three Ways to Log. Zero Friction.

The core of Intake 2.0 is flexibility. You get three distinct ways to track your meals — and each one is designed to take seconds, not minutes. Snap a photo of your plate and let AI break it down into calories, protein, fat, and carbs. Type a quick sentence like "grilled chicken with rice and broccoli" and Intake does the rest. Or just talk — say what you ate and voice-to-text handles the logging for you. It cleans up filler words, corrects common mishearings, and maps everything to real nutritional data. No more scrolling through endless food databases. No more guessing portion sizes. Just log and move on.

A Smarter Onboarding and Profile

The onboarding flow has been completely rebuilt. Instead of dropping you into the app cold, 2.0 walks you through a personalized setup — your goals, activity level, diet preferences, and fitness focus. From there, Intake calculates your daily macro targets automatically. Your profile now adapts to you. Whether you're cutting weight, building muscle, or just trying to eat better, your calorie and macro targets reflect your actual plan. And as you log meals, your analytics dashboard tracks consistency, streaks, and progress over time — so you can see what's working.

Redesigned from the Ground Up

Every screen in Intake 2.0 has been redesigned for clarity and speed. Less clutter, faster navigation, and a design language that stays out of your way. The daily log is easier to scan, meals are easier to edit, and the whole experience just feels smoother. Under the hood, we've upgraded to the latest frameworks — better performance, smoother animations, and a more reliable experience across devices. This is the version of Intake we always wanted to build, and we can't wait for you to try it.
